What is the Global Learning Programme (GLP)?

The GLP is a government-funded programme of support that has been helping teachers in Primary, Secondary and Special schools since 2013 to deliver effective teaching and learning about development and global issues at Key Stages 2 and 3.

The GLP is building a national network of like-minded schools committed to equipping their students to make a positive contribution to a globalised world, and thousands of GLP schools across the country are experiencing the positive impact that global learning can have on pupils’ engagement, knowledge, skills and values.

Together with funding for CPD, the GLP provides a wealth of support, including a personalised action plan, an abundance of free resources, the opportunity to access free online training, curriculum and subject guidance, as well as support as part of a national network. Help your school be part of this too…

The Global Learning Programme is funded by the UK government.
