Bespoke support and guidance for embedding Global Learning in curriculum planning for schools who have already undertaken Global Learning Training.
Increased confidence and understanding of Global Learning in relation to curriculum planning; Reflection on existing practice and curriculum to increase opportunities for Global Learning; Exploring different approaches to curriculum planning for Global Learning; Increased ability to critique resources and choose relevant materials and methodologies for developing teachers own planning.
Teachers will go away with ideas, resources and methodologies which will broaden their existing curriculum plans to incorporate Global learning which is achievable, relevant and effective.

Mandy Curtis: PhD Human Geography, PGCE Primary Education, BA (Hons) History of Art and Archaeology Asia and Africa, accredited Global Teacher Award Trainer. Mandy has taught for 20 years and worked in a DEC since 2000. Ruth England: PGCert Education for Sustainability, PGCE Post Compulsory Education, BA Hons Fine Art, accredited Connecting Classrooms Trainer. Ruth has delivered training for 13 years and worked in a DEC for ten years. Mandy and Ruth have delivered training in schools together for seven years. They have delivered similar courses to whole school staff teams in Sussex as well as delivering key note talks and workshops at numerous conferences and events.
This course is for schools who have already undertaken Global Learning Training with 18 hours so have a good overview of Global Learning and how it can benefit their school. Trainers will work with teachers in small groups or year groups and will need to see copies of curriculum plans beforehand in order to advise on ways to embed Global Learning within their existing practice.Contact provider Booking only available to GLP members.
