Aims of the course:

To provide participants with the opportunity to explore the sustainable development goals and social justice; British values; Philosophy for Children as an approach for thinking about complex and controversial global issues and to immersed in a dramatic performance about refugees

Expected outcomes of the course:

- Deeper understanding of the challenges facing our society in 2017 - Greater understanding of global learning - Greater understanding of impact of P4C - An understanding of learning of, and commitment to, social justice within the curriculum - Involvement of children in leading global learning in a school

Embedding global learning in your teaching:

- Practical ideas to share with staff and use in the classroom - Increased confidence to teach about global issues

KS2 and KS3

Geography, History, RS / RE, Citizenship, PSHE, Drama
