Health and sanitation

Most pupils enjoy learning about disease and they especially enjoy learning about toilets! There are many unusual andengaging ways to approach this topic included in the resources suggested below.

Health and sanitation are basic elements of development and many of the solutions are basic too, so why in some parts of the world are there still immense hurdles to overcome? Like all topics connected to development, once they start investigating pupils will realise there are no easy answers. Like many of these topics, health and sanitation links with education, housing and energy, to name a few.
