Improving geography through the primary geography quality mark

Aims of the course:

The Primary Geography Quality Mark aims to support participants in improving geography provision and outcomes in their school, within a nationally recognised framework for self-evaluation.

Expected outcomes of the course:

As a result of this programme, participants will review and improve attainment and progress, teaching, behaviour and relationships and leadership and management in geography. They will submit their review for central moderation and gain the PGQM award.

Embedding global learning in your teaching:

This programme will help deepen teachers’ own knowledge and make sense of linking different aspects of global learning, for example through curriculum making and progression, and strengthen aspects of their classroom practice.
