Teachers develop skills and knowledge in human rights education
Teachers have the knowledge to teach about human rights; Teachers are skilled with new approaches to tackle human rights issues in their classrooms; Teachers can enable young people to take considered action for human rights; Teachers try a range of approaches to address the values and attitudes of young people.
The course provides an integrated approach to human rights education and embedding an area of learning relevant to communities across the globe into the curriculum, into their pastoral role and into their extra-curricular provision for young people. Teachers are enabled to empower young people through social action and the globally recognised values of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Three training days of interactive workshops and presentations
The course offers sessions from a range of experts in the field of human rights education, with particular focus on its relevance in UK Schools.
