Aims of the course:

This is a great opportunity to reflect on your RRSA journey and plan future school development. It aims to deepen understanding of rights-respecting values and global citizenship and to explore examples of good Practice across the four standards

Expected outcomes of the course:

Encourages the exploration of one’s own values and their wider social relevance Knowledge of rights and essential services: health, education, water and sanitation Ability to challenge own and others’ perspectives and stereotypes Developing empathy in relation to global knowledge Considering respect and social justice in relation to global knowledge

Embedding global learning in your teaching:

This course will enable teachers to deepen their understanding of the values of the UNCRC and further strengthen the development of a whole -school approach to global learning.
