The GLP offers a range of tools to help you and your colleagues set targets, and plan and evaluate your school’s progress.
Whole School Audit
The Whole School Audit (WSA) is an online form that collects information about the experiences your school has had up to now with global learning.
Completing the WSA generates a personalised Action Plan for your school and also triggers the release of up to £500-worth of e-credits* for your school to spend on GLP-approved CPD. Completing the Audit for a second time during the programme will both help you record your progress and generate a new Action Plan to support future global learning activities.
The Action Plan is generated on completion of the Whole School Audit. Not only does it give you and your Partner Schools direction for your global learning activities, but it can also help you identify the most appropriate way for your school to spend your e-credits* – whether individually or in collaboration with your GLP network.
Pupil Assessment Tool
The easy-to-use Pupil Assessment Tool is an engaging way for pupils to demonstrate their knowledge. As well as helping to measure the impact of your global learning work, it can also generate valuable evidence for Ofsted.
*The GLP is funded by the UK government. All schools can join the programme, but funding is only available to Key Stages 2 and 3 in state schools in England. The GLP in England (GLP-E) is managed by a consortium of partners: Pearson (lead), Geographical Association, UCL Institute of Education, Oxfam UK, Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), SSAT and Think Global.
